The Cooperative
La CO.TA.AR. Taxi Arezzo Cooperative Society was established in 1993 and comprises all the taxi drivers in Arezzo who aimed to modernize, make efficient, and cost-effective taxi services.
It is the only public service operating 24/7 in Arezzo and has been equipped with a radio-taxi system from the beginning, replacing the phone at the taxi stand. This change has provided a faster and more economical service for customers.
In September 2022, the cooperative upgraded its radio taxi system with a state-of-the-art Automatic Call Distributor equipped with new GPS communication and control technologies. This upgrade enables technological enhancements that make the taxi search even more economical and faster.
